Space X owner and CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk interviewed the former president of the United States of America, Donald Trump on Tuesday, August 13. The live-streamed interview was two hours long with conversation revolving around various topics like Trump’s assassination attempt to his views on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Trump On The Assassination Attempt At Pennsylvania’s Rally
During the interview, Donald Trump spoke about his assassination attempt in Pennsylvania’s Butler less than a month ago where he narrowly escaped a bullet at a rally. The bullet however grazed through his ear, leaving him injured. Trump earlier claimed that he would not speak on the same more than once, despite saying that Trump shared the experience during the interview with Elon Musk. Donald Trump called his survival from the shooting a ‘miracle’, he said, “If I hadn’t turned my head, I wouldn’t be talking to you right now, as much as I like you”.
Donald Trump Takes A Dig At Kamala Harris And Joe Biden
Donald Trump further shared that the event was surreal and stated that he immediately knew that it was a bullet. Moreover, speaking about the current Vice President of the U.S. Kamala Harris, Trump claimed that she is ‘fake’ and ‘incompetent’ when it comes to border security. Trump also pointed out the rising number of illegal immigrants crossing the borders of the U.S. under Joe Biden’s administration. Trump called these migrant laborers ‘terrorists in disguise’. Further adding, Trump claimed if Americans voted for Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential elections on November 5, “The US will run out of business”.
Elon Musk Invited Harris On X Space, Viewers Say Harris ‘Too Scared To Join’
During the interview with Donald Trump, Elon Musk sent an invite to Kamala Harris to join the live conversation. He wrote on the platform X, “Happy to host Kamala on an X Spaces too”. After his invitation, viewers on X made comments concerning Kamala’s low probability of joining the interview. Viewers commented that Harris is “too scared”, to do an X Space with Elon Musk. Meanwhile, many viewers shared that they would love to hear the two presidential candidates in the same space ahead of the elections.
Elon Musk Pledges To Held Government’s Spending Issues
Reportedly, Elon Musk is presumed to be pitching himself for a potential role under Trump’s administrative team. Elon Musk has claimed that he is willing to help with the government’s spending issues and has pledged to spend millions of dollars in donations to reelect Donald Trump as president. Donald Trump has responded to his pledge by sharing that he was more than happy to consider the proposal.
